Procedure
In order to open a company in DMCC, you need to choose
- Choose the type license and business activities:
After you express your interest online to form a company in DMCC, and within one working day from your query with the DMCC, you will get access to a unique portal account to start your online application.
Each company is issued a license depending on their business activity. While the license will be specific to the selected activities, a company can also apply for multiple licenses or for a general trading license. The free zone offer three types of licenses: Trading, Service and Industrial.
The minimum share capital for a DMCC company is AED 50,000 per company. The share capital needs to be deposited in the company’s bank account in the UAE within three weeks from the issue date of the company’s license. It can be withdrawn anytime thereafter.
- Submit an online application:
Through the DMCC portal, you will be able to complete an application form, pay the initial application fee of AED 1,015 AED and submit your application. After seven working days, DMCC will complete the company name reservation, management and compliance approval.
- Pay, sign and submit the documents:
After you submit the online application, you will have to pay the registration and license fees and sign the legal documents. After five working days, DMCC will issue a provisional approval and bank letter (to open a company bank account).
- Choose your suitable office solution:
Finally, you need to sign and submit the relevant documents for your new office space. After five working days, DMCC will issue your E-License, so you will be ready to do business in DMCC.
Documents
In order to open a company in DMCC, you need to submit the following documents:
- An online pre-approval application form
- A copy of of all proposed company shareholders, directors, managers, secretary, legal representative along (with their UAE residence visa and a copy of the Emirates ID if applicable)
- A proof of residential address in the country of residence (e.g. a utility bill or invoice)
- A no-objection certificate from your sponsor (if applicable)
- A summary of the business plan for certain activities
- Copies of the parent company documents (only if you are forming a branch of a company)
- Third party approvals for certain regulated business activities
- An address in DMCC
Visas
Once the entity has been incorporated and the license issued, shareholders can apply for a UAE residence permit which is valid for three years. In order to get the residency stamped on your passport, you must travel to the UAE, take a medical test and stay in the country for a minimum of two weeks. Smart desk option will allow for 2 visas, while 1 visa is allocated per every 10m2 of leased office space. The person holding the visa needs to visit the UAE once every six months to ensure its validity. They can also sponsor their immediate family. [:ar]
تمّ تأسيس المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة (DMCC) سنة ٢٠٠٢ من قبل حكومة دبي، بهدف تأمين سوق يتحلّى ببنية تحتية مالية قويّة، بالإضافة إلى عقارات للبيع والإيجار مخصصة للأعمال التجارية والسكن. تمّ إعلان المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة كأفضل منطقة حرّة عالمية ثلاث مرّات، مما جعل منها المنطقة الحرّة الأسرع تطوّراً مع أكثر من ١٤٠٠٠ شركة مؤسّسة ضمن نطاقها، من شركات ناشئة إلى شركات كبرى عالمية.

ثانيا: شروط تأسيس شركة في المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسّلع المتعددة
الإجراءت
من أجل تأسيس شركة في المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسّلع المتعدّدة، عليك اتّباع الخطوات التالية:
- إختيار نوع الرخصة والنشاط التجاري:
بعد ان تبدي برغبتك عبر الانترنت في تأسيس شركة في المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسّلع المتعدّدة، ستتمكّن من الدخول الى حساب البوّابة الالكترونيّة الخاصّ بك وذلك في خلال يوم عمل واحد من تاريخ اعلام المنطقة الحرّة برغبتك هذه.
يتمّ إصدار ترخيص لكلّ شركة وفقاَ لنشاطها التجاري. يمكن ان تكون الرخصة محصورة بنشاط معيّن، او يمكن للشركة ان تقدّم طلب للحصول على عدّة تراخيص أو على رخصة تجارة عامّة. تقدم المنطقة الحرّة لمركز دبي للسّلع المتعدّدة ثلاث أنواع من الرخص: التجارة، الخدمات والصناعة.
انّ الحدّ الأدنى لرأس مال شركة مؤسّسة في مركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة هو ٥٠،٠٠٠ درهم للشركة الواحدة. يتمّ وضع رأس المال في حساب خاصّ للشركة في مصرف في الامارات العربية المتحدّة وذلك ضمن مهلة ثلاثة اسابيع من تاريخ صدور رخصة الشركة. يمكن سحب هذا المبلغ في أي وقت بعد ذلك.
٢. تقديم الطلب عبر الإنترنت
عبر موقع مركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة، ستتمكّن من تعبئة الطلب، ودفع كلفة الطلب الأساسية (وقيمتها ١,٠١٥ درهم) وتقديم الطلب. بعد ٧ أيام عمل، سيتولّى مركز دبي للسلع المتعددة أمر حجز إسم الشركة، وتنظيمها والاستحصال على الموافقات اللّازمة.
٣. إدفع، وقّع، و قدّم المستندات:
بعد تقديم الطلب عبر الانترنت، عليك ان تدفع رسوم التسجيل والرخصة وتوقيع الأوراق القانونية. بعد ٥ أيام عمل، سيصدر مركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة موافقة مؤقّتة ورسالة توصية (لفتح حساب للشركة في المصرف).
٤. إختر المكتب الذي يناسبك:
وأخيراً، عليك التوقيع على، وتقديم المستندات الخاصّة بموقع مكتبك الجديد. وفي خلال ٥ أيام عمل، سيصدر مركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة رخصتك الإلكترونية، وستتمكن إذا ببدء نشاطك التجاري في المنطقة الحرّة.
المستندات
من أجل تأسيس شركة في مركز دبي للسلع المتعدّدة، عليك تقديم المستندات التالية:
- إستمارة موافقة مسبقة تُقدَّم إلكترونيا
- صورة عن جوازات سفر المساهمين، والمدراء، وأمين السرّ والممثل القانوني (مع صورة عن بطاقة إقامتهم في الامارات وصورة عن بطاقة هويّتهم الإماراتية إذا أمكن)
- إثبات عن مكان السكن في بلد الإقامة (فاتورة كهرباء مثلاً)
- شهادة عدم ممانعة من كفيل (إذا أمكن)
- وصف موجز لخطة العمل لبعض النشاطات
- صورة عن مستندات الشركة الأم (في حالة تأسيس فرع لهذه الشركة )
- موافقة اطراف ثالثين لبعض الأعمال التجارية المنظّمة

التأشيرات
فور صدور الرخصة، وبعد ان تصبح الشركة مسجّلة، يمكن ان يتقدّم المساهمون بطلب إقامة في الإمارات العربية المتّحدة صالحة لمدّة ثلاث سنوات. لكي تُختم الإقامة على جواز السفر، عليك السفر إلى الإمارات، إجراء فحص طبّي والبقاء في البلد لأسبوعين على الأقلّ.
تجدر الاشارة الى انّ اختيار عرض المكاتب الذكيّة يسمح تلقائياَ بالحصول على تأشيرتين. وعلى الشخص الذي يحمل التأشيرة أن يزور الإمارات مرة كلّ ستّة أشهر للحفاظ عليها. كذلك، يمكن لهؤلاء الأفراد كفالة أعضاء أسرتهم ومنحهم التأشيرات.
